If you're looking for authentic Mexican food around the area, this is it! Keep in mind it's in a sketchy run down area so it's not going to be super clean or aesthetically pleasing. However, the food makes up for all the above. I had albóndigas and it came with rice and tortillas, it was a nice little soup that reminded me of my mom's cooking. My brother had a carnitas plate and they were fresh and juicy. Had an horchata and it wasn't overly sweet like other places so I loved that! We shared a flan for dessert and it was also super good. Overall, you can tell all food is made fresh daily or to order and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get. The lady who took our order was also super nice and our food came out in good timing! I will definitely be back probably with my dad because I know he'll like it for sure!

Came here yesterday afternoon for a late breakfast/lunch. This restaurant is located across from a local church that I used to go to Sunday. The area is not very new and looks like one of those sketch areas in the hood. Restaurant has several tables to dine for customers. Once seated, the waiter quickly came and brought out complimentary chips and salsa with bean dip. I must say that chips were quite tasty and full of grease. For the main dish, I was asking for recommendations and suggested either the super burrito or the super chimichanga. Big disappointment, the chimichanga appeared to have way too much beans and rice. I was not impressed by it, even though the size was big. Order also took a while to make when there was only one customer. Slow service, had a hard time enjoying my food, difficulty understanding the waiter, etc. Probably wouldn't come back here again.

I really like their Chile releno here and their guacamole dip which considering the location is amazing.
Like why can't all restaurants be this good.
I'm talking to you downtown Sacramento where sometimes fidning good guacamole can be challenging.
But not here.... great sauce, great corn and meat for the tamale, and great chips and guac.
Oh, and the enchiladas are good here too. I get the ground beef enchiladas when I'm not ordering the tamales. -

This is the real deal!!! Fresh, made to order, authentic Mexican food, DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I are truckers and seek out Mexican restaurants all over the country, this is definitely our favorite!!!! It's a small place but don't let size scare you away, Aurturo and his wife, Norma, will have you thinking you've crossed the border with their freshly made food! Stop by and give your tastebuds a super treat, you'll be glad you did!!!

Soooo this part of town is a little scary.... but this place is delicious. Try the seafood enchiladas. And the service is wonderful!!
I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of the scary shared bathrooms:)
